This is another juice recipe that I think works great as a breakfast juice, it’s a very simple one to prepare and it has a lovely zing of freshness about it. There’s a million different recipes for it on the net and I suppose it just depends on what flavour you’re looking for. For me I love grapefruit and I can be a bit hit and miss with ginger so my ratios are skewed in that direction but the basic recipe is as follows, and this is for 2 people:
- 2 Grapefruits
- 5 Carrots
- About an inch of ginger root
That’s it, pass them all through your juicer and you’ve got this lovely juice full of vitamin C, lycopene and beta-carotene. Also, the health benefits of ginger can’t be ignored, have a look at this great site I cam across today and see for yourself.
